Ali Haydar Yesilyurt (born in Turkey, Ordu) – photographer and filmmaker.
In 2016 he got MBA degree form Cardiff Metropolitan University (London School of Commerce). His Final project’s subject was “Next generation ‘filmmaking’: new markets, new methods and new business models”.
He has made two short movies – first in 2010 in Istanbul “Rose is Dying” (14 min.) and next four years later in 2014 in London “Snapshot Love” (11 min.).
Artist has several documentary photo projects performed around the world including “Dear India” (2009) and “Heart of Africa” (2013). The most important project “Face of Europe” is ongoing – photos of everyday street life of 24 European countries.
During his career he worked with many world-known person – portraits of Claudia Cardinale, Fazil Say are among artist’s works.
His works has been exhibited in several countries, the last personal exhibition took place in 2015 in Warsaw in Faculty of Media Arts, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Artworks exhibited during this exhibition were printed as hard cover book.
Artist works has gained several international awards. In 2010 his project “Face of Europe” has been awarded by PhotoWorld Academy (Turkey) as “The best international social documentary photo project”.
